1. General warning

For cosplay and display only. Questline products are decorative artistic props and collectibles. They are not designed or tested as personal protective equipment, safety helmets, impact protection, medical devices, functional weapons, working tools, climbing equipment, load-bearing equipment, or children's toys.

Questline products are intended for adults and are not intended for minors. Materials vary by item and options and may include 3D-printed plastics, resin components, acrylic paints or clear finishes, adhesives, foam, fabric, leather, feathers, beads, magnets, and metal hardware. Contact Questline before ordering if a particular material presents an allergy, medical, venue, or other concern.

Magnets and small parts

Some products contain magnets, small hardware, or detachable decorative parts. Loose parts can present choking or ingestion hazards. Swallowed magnets can cause serious or fatal internal injuries, especially when more than one magnet or a magnet and metal object are swallowed. If a magnet or small part loosens, stop using the item immediately, collect and secure every loose component, and keep the item away from children and pets until repaired.

Rigid surfaces, projections, decorative points, edges, hardware, and attached details can catch on people or objects and may cause injury or property damage if handled carelessly. Keep every piece away from open flame, sparks, high heat, hot vehicles, prolonged direct sunlight, and hazardous environments.

Products should be handled by a responsible adult, kept away from unsupervised children and pets, and used only where permitted by venue rules and applicable law.

2. Masks and helmets

Wearable props may restrict peripheral vision, hearing, ventilation, balance, movement, and awareness. They do not protect against impact, falls, projectiles, heat, chemicals, smoke, or other hazards.

• Confirm that the piece fits securely and that sight lines, breathing openings, straps, lining, and closures are unobstructed before wearing it.
• Use a spotter in crowds, unfamiliar spaces, low light, or whenever visibility or movement is limited.
• Do not wear a mask or helmet while driving, cycling, climbing, operating machinery, near traffic or flame, or while using stairs without assistance.
• Remove it immediately if you experience pain, overheating, dizziness, numbness, skin irritation, breathing difficulty, panic, or any unsafe condition.
• Do not cover ventilation openings or rely on the item for head, face, eye, respiratory, or hearing protection.

3. Decorative weapons and tools

Questline weapon and tool designs are decorative props. They are not functional weapons or working tools and must never be used for striking, throwing, sparring, cutting, prying, load-bearing, or self-defense.

• Do not swing, brandish, or point a prop at another person. Maintain clear space around projections and rigid surfaces.
• Carry and lift the item by a sturdy body or handle, never by a blade, spike, ornament, or other fragile detail.
• Transport props discreetly in protective packaging and obtain venue approval before bringing one to an event.
• Follow all local laws, carrier requirements, event policies, and security instructions governing costume props.

4. Inspect before each use

Before wearing, carrying, mounting, or displaying a piece, inspect the shell, seams, straps, buckles, lining, handles, mounts, stands, adhesives, and attached details. Stop using the item if anything is cracked, loose, bent, separated, sharp from damage, unstable, or obstructing ventilation or visibility. Do not resume use until the condition has been evaluated and safely corrected.

5. Cleaning

• Remove loose dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or very soft brush.
• Use a barely damp cloth only on sealed hard surfaces, then dry the area immediately.
• Do not submerge, soak, machine wash, dry-clean, place in a dishwasher, or rinse under running water.
• Do not use alcohol, acetone, bleach, ammonia, aerosol cleaners, solvents, oils, polish, abrasives, or melamine cleaning pads.
• Do not saturate foam, leather, feathers, fabric, electronics, or glued details.

Paint, weathering, and clear finishes can gradually wear, dull, scratch, or chip from friction, impact, skin oils, moisture, and sunlight. This cosmetic wear does not make the prop safe for continued use if the underlying structure or a component is damaged. Finishes and materials vary by piece; test any approved cleaning method in a hidden area first and contact Questline before cleaning an unfamiliar or delicate material.

6. Drying and storage

After wearing, allow the interior to air-dry fully at room temperature before storage. Trapped moisture can affect paint, adhesives, lining, hardware, and odor.

• Store indoors in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, heaters, fireplaces, attics, garages, and vehicles.
• Never use a hair dryer, heat gun, clothes dryer, oven, or other direct heat source to dry or reshape a piece.
• Support the item beneath broad structural areas. Do not rest its weight on horns, antlers, blades, feathers, spikes, or other projections.
• Leave clearance around fragile details so they cannot be crushed, snagged, or bent.

7. Transport and display

Use the original packing materials when available. Support the main structure, isolate projections with soft padding, and prevent the item from shifting. Never lift or carry a piece by a decorative attachment.

Display only on a stable stand, shelf, or properly installed wall mount rated for the item's weight. Use appropriate anchors for the wall material, keep displays out of walkways and sleeping areas, and periodically check the stand, mount, and item for movement or damage.

8. DIY kits and raw prints

Sanding, cutting, drilling, painting, priming, filling, and gluing can create dust, debris, vapors, heat, and chemical exposure. Work only in a suitable, well-ventilated adult workspace. Wear task-appropriate eye, respiratory, skin, and hearing protection, and follow every tool and material manufacturer's label and safety data sheet.

Confirm that paints, fillers, adhesives, coatings, and hardware are compatible with the supplied materials. Allow all products to cure fully according to their manufacturers' instructions. Do not wear, carry, or display an unfinished piece if it has loose components, rough or sharp areas, exposed supports, uncured chemicals, or unsafe openings.

9. Damage, alterations, and repairs

Stop using a damaged item. Customer modifications, repainting, reheating, drilling, third-party hardware, and unauthorized repairs can change fit, strength, balance, ventilation, and finish performance. 10. Questions and incidents

If you are unsure whether an item can be safely cleaned, worn, carried, mounted, or repaired, stop and ask before proceeding. Report injuries, near misses, breakage, overheating, unexpected sharp areas, or other safety concerns to info@questlinellc.com with the order number, item name, description, and photographs when available.
